My interest in raising rabbits started about 5 years ago. I have always had a love and artistic interest for the cute little fuzzy critters. Now I’m hooked! I have German, French, and Satin Angoras. I love everything about them! Right down to cleaning cages.
My rabbitry name Adiva Amber Rabbitry, came straight from my kennel name, Adiva Amber Kennels. “Adiva Amber” is Arabic for Gentle Jewels, so what better name for these sweet gentle bundles of fur.
I have shown, bred and loved dogs as long as I can remember. I am retired dog and cat groomer. Something I had done for 45 years (I started as a child with my Mom). Hence, the reason for choosing Angoras. I don’t breed or show dogs anymore, just love the ones I have left. You’ll probably see a few of them throughout my website, they are family too after all.
I am a YaYa (Grandmother) of 12 (9 Girls and 3 Boys), along with my dear, patient and generous husband Marty (otherwise known as Pampa). We have four Children between us. My Daughter, Amanda Politino has Satins, “Phluphaphur”. We live in Fort Valley, Georgia, on two little acres that are full of Rabbits, Goats, Cats, Dogs and a couple of birds.
